My Story

I don’t even know what the word Designer  really describes anymore.  Certainly there’s a good amount of designing involved when one is a designer but that’s not even the half of it for many of us.  I do know that this road has been too long and strange for me to simply identify myself by a broad descriptor that indicates something that is less than what I am.  No at this point, I am a

Transitionist.

In working with visuals, I have seen companies in their twilight and helped birth successful startups.  I’ve been to the top floor and lived in my car.  I’ve been from San Diego, to Minneapolis, to Brooklyn, to North Carolina, to Brooklyn, to Minneapolis in a matter of months, strictly to pursue quality work.

I’ve met and developed a friendship with my Design Hero.  I’ve helped out, often donating work, to the Stand-Up Comedy Scene in New York City.  I’ve managed an Airline’s Website.  I’ve managed a AAA Baseball Clubhouse and hand lettered their signs.  I volunteer art teach at an Elementary school because my art teacher changed my life.

I’ve designed Print, Web, Flash, Fonts, Interface, Mobile Interface, Social Media, Email Campaigns, T-Shirts, At least one Ice Sculpture, Corporate Identity, Logos, Album Covers, Packaging, Apparel, Patterns, Sculptures, Live Action Films, Animations, Airplane Graphics, Multi-Million Dollar Events, My High School Yearbook, My Grandma’s Etsy Account, My Mom’s Wedding invitations, My Sister’s College Website and my Father’s Band Posters.

That’s really what happened.  This is only my 6th year.
